Monks cover all three roles in the Mage Tower: a tank challenge, a healer challenge and a damage challenge. That spread is rare, because tank and healer fights are the ones most players have no character for. The first clear unlocks a recolor of Xuen’s Battlegear, and a single monk fills two awkward gaps on the way to the mount.

How each spec plays it
Brewmaster: The Highlord’s Return
Spear Hand Strike covers Drain Life and Twisted Reflection, and Crackling Jade Lightning is your ranged answer to the Tormenting Eyes that ignore physical attacks. Leg Sweep and Ring of Peace handle Nether Horrors. Keep brews ready for each Annihilate and use Fortifying Brew on the later hits, when they really start to hurt.
Mistweaver: End of the Risen Threat
Spread Renewing Mist before each wave and keep Life Cocoon for allies who take a stacked Arcane Blitz. Detox removes Mana Sting as soon as it lands. Paralysis, Leg Sweep and Ring of Peace break the mage’s casting chain, and Revival is there for the Knife Dance you could not stop.
Windwalker: Feltotem’s Fall
Spear Hand Strike and Leg Sweep together let you answer almost every Fel Burst. Tiger Palm kills a Fel Surge Totem in one hit, so a macro for it pays off quickly. Spinning Crane Kick cleaves both bosses. Touch of Karma turns Jormog’s damage against him, and Roll gets you to the rocks in time to bait his charge.
