Death Knight Mage Tower Boost – Gravewarden Armaments Recolor

  • 10–15 minutes
  • Without Account sharing
  • Gravewarden Armaments recolor
  • Three challenges to choose from
  • 100% manual

Mage Tower for your death knight: pick a spec and our player clears its challenge in about 10–15 minutes of play. Unlocks the recolored Gravewarden Armaments and counts toward the Soaring Spelltome.

A death knight gets one Mage Tower challenge per spec, and each of the three is a very different test: tanking Kruul on Blood, hunting a hidden archmage on Frost and fighting a room full of imps on Unholy. The first clear unlocks a recolor of the Gravewarden Armaments, the Tier 20 set from Tomb of Sargeras.

Recorded in an earlier patch. The mechanics are the same today, the talents have changed, so copy the approach and not the build.

Death Knight specs and their challenges

Specialization Challenge You fight
Blood The Highlord’s Return Inquisitor Variss, then Highlord Kruul
Frost Closing the Eye Archmage Xylem, then the Corrupting Shadows
Unholy An Impossible Foe Agatha and her imps

How each spec plays it

Blood: The Highlord’s Return

Few tanks heal themselves back up like Blood, so Death Strike after each big hit does most of the work. Mind Freeze answers Drain Life and Twisted Reflection, while Death Coil reaches the Tormenting Eyes that ignore physical attacks. Keep Icebound Fortitude and Vampiric Blood for the later Annihilates, because the early ones are the weak ones.

Frost: Closing the Eye

Spend Mind Freeze on Frostbolt in the first phase, then hold it for Draw Power in the second, since that channel makes Xylem stronger the longer it runs. Stay near the middle of the room so Wraith Walk can carry you to the golden shimmer when the mirror images appear. In the last phase Chains of Ice slows the Darkness Within adds on their way to the boss.

Unholy: An Impossible Foe

Epidemic and Death and Decay clean up Smoldering Imps quickly, and that matters because each one that keeps casting hits harder. Death Grip pulls an Imp Servant off its channel before it can heal Agatha. When her shield breaks, Mind Freeze goes on Dark Fury. At 50% she moves to the top of the room and Wraith Walk gets you there first.
