No class covers more of the Mage Tower than the druid. Each of its four specs has its own challenge, so a single character brings you more than halfway to A Tour of Towers, and the tank fight comes with the most wanted reward in the Tower. The first clear also unlocks a recolor of the Stormheart Raiment.
Druid specs and their challenges
| Specialization | Challenge | You fight |
|---|---|---|
| Guardian | The Highlord’s Return | Inquisitor Variss, then Highlord Kruul |
| Feral | An Impossible Foe | Agatha and her imps |
| Balance | Thwarting the Twins | Karam and Raest Magespear |
| Restoration | End of the Risen Threat | Waves of Corrupted Risen mages, soldiers and arbalests |
How each spec plays it
Guardian: The Highlord’s Return
This is the only way to unlock the Fel Werebear, which then works in all four specs, so most druids start here. Moonfire on every Tormenting Eye, Skull Bash on every Drain Life, then a set order of Ironfur, Barkskin and Survival Instincts for Kruul’s hits. If you only want the form, the Fel Werebear boost is the direct route, and the full guide explains each step.
Feral: An Impossible Foe
Thrash and Swipe keep the imp packs under control and feed your finishers. Skull Bash goes on Dark Fury as soon as the shield is down. When an Imp Servant starts to channel into Agatha, a stun or Typhoon stops the healing. At 50% she relocates, so have Wild Charge or Dash ready to close the distance.
Balance: Thwarting the Twins
Karam has to stay slowed for the whole first phase, and Typhoon helps when he catches you. Starfall handles Raest’s adds while you keep casting at him. Save Celestial Alignment or Incarnation for the 30-second Raest windows, and keep Solar Beam for the Hand from Beyond.
Restoration: End of the Risen Threat
Place your Rejuvenations and Lifebloom before each wave, because the Risen soldiers’ Knife Dance hits everyone at once. Nature’s Cure removes Mana Sting immediately. Ironbark and Tranquility are your answers to the worst moments, and Typhoon or Incapacitating Roar can break a mage’s Arcane Blitz chain before it gets dangerous.
